"Just do what you're supposed to do."
-Caleb Prior
Honestly, this is probably going to be one of my favorite quotes throughout the book. It may seem like one simple line, but it is more than that. You just have to read between the lines. Beatrice knows exactly what she is "supposed" to do, but she isn't one hundred percent sure that it is what she wants to do.
This is the chapter of the test. Dum Dum Dummmmmmmmmm. I could not imagine anything more awful than this test. You can't even prepare for it! I don't usually prepare for tests, but I think I would want to study a little for the BIGGEST test of my life!
It's totally super creepy in the room that you have to sit in, and then they give you this stuff that you have to drink to make you hallucinate and stuff. The hallucinations are basically the test implanted into your mind. You are placed in fake situations that help you determine what factor you are best fit for.
Right now you are probably asking yourself what kind of situations they could possibly put you in. Well, Beatrice was placed in front of two items, a piece of cheese, and a knife. She was told to pick one. She defied those instructions, and picked neither! Woah... And this is where the chapter started picking up.
The rest of the test was very odd. You could tell that her actions could help place her in any faction! I really have no idea what faction they are going to give her at the end of this test. It will be pretty interesting to find out.
