Final Reflection Of Divergent

Well, the book is over. To be honest, I absolutely loved it.

I know that people were complaining about the realism of the book, but to me, that doesn't matter. If a book is really truly good, and has a good plot, I will like it. This was one of the books that I actually get really involved in, and I can compare myself to the main character.

People can argue to the ends of the earth about whether Tris and Four were really in love or not, but in my opinion, when you know, you know. I have never "known," but I witness it. Everyday, I see the little things that my mom and dad do around each other, and I see true love. I know what it sounds like and what it looks like, and although I can't witness their relationship, I can feel it.

Anyway- I thought it was all around a great book, and I praise the author (Veronica Roth) for writing her first novel, and making it so heart-wrenching and captivating at the same time.

I recommend this not only to people who have read the Hunger Games and loved it, but also to people who want to learn something about themselves. I know that sounds super cheesy and stupid, but I did. This book helped me discover some of my worst fears, and although that may not sound inviting, the finishing product is. My finishing product was me reading about how Tris got through her fears, and that in turn, helped me.

I can't wait to read the second book, and the third book needs to come out like right now. I am not as excited for the movie to come out because I feel like some movies ruin some really amazing books, and I don't want that to happen for this fascinating novel.

Thanks for reading my blog! Adios.

  1. You mentioned the Hunger Games. A lot of people believe with the timing of this book's release along with the similar themes in the two books, that the two books are extremely similar, and even that Divergent is kind of a take off of the Hunger Games. What is your opinion?
